I can see were the bookmarks could be very useful-students doing reference and research for school projects on different computers-and I like the idea of having recipes bookmarked in a central location. And you can keep it all private if you choose. Your bookmarks would certainly be portable and that is a plus.

Shelfari could be a way to display newbooks for the library on the webpage......
